Beaumont Guest House Windermere, provides superb quality Bed & Breakfast in Windermere offering "Comfort with a touch of class". Bookings

To reserve a room and for security purposes we require valid Credit/Debit card details (type, number, expiry date, issue number, a valid from date and the three digit security code shown on the signature strip on the reverse side of the card, the name as it appears on the card and the full postal address of the card holder.

A non refundable deposit in respect of the first night’s accommodation cost is required for all bookings and will be debited against card details provided; the balance being debited on day of arrival; please advise beforehand if you wish to use an alternative method to pay the outstanding balance. A charge of 2% is levied against balance payments paid by Credit Card – no charge is made for accounts settled by Debit Card.

Valentine’s & Bank Holidays

We have a three night minimum booking policy for Bank Holidays weekends; the balance outstanding in respect of accommodation booked for these periods will be debited seven days in advance and is non refundable/transferable.

Amendments to Booking

If you need to amend your reservation the deposit may be transferred to a future booking provided seven days clear notice of the change is given (time limit on booking transfers - 6 months).  We are unable to transfer deposits for any bookings made over Valentine’s and Bank Holiday periods.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation with seven days notice or less, prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to 100% of the total booking value will be charged.  If we are able to relet the accommodation booked then the balance of monies will be refunded.  In the event of a ‘non arrival’ or ‘cancellation after arrival date’, the full cost of the stay as booked will be charged.

As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival we respectfully remind guests that a reservation, whether by telephone, in writing or in person, constitutes a contract in law and therefore we always recommend that insurance be taken out in case of cancellation or curtailment of a booking.  


Arrivals & Departures

Check-in -

 

Monday to Friday 2.30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday to Sunday 12 noon - 2 p.m.
or By Arrangement
Check-out - by 10.30 a.m.

We ask that guests telephone us to confirm their arrival time either the evening before or on the morning of their arrival to ensure that we can greet you personally.

Change of Room

We will always do our best to accommodate individual requests however we cannot always guarantee that you will occupy a specific room for your stay.  Rooms are generally allocated in order of booking and are usually dependent upon existing bookings. The management reserves the right to amend bookings or provide alternative rooms at their discretion.

Non Availability

We would only cancel your booking if accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you.  Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Damages and Breakages


Please take care with our accommodation.  You are responsible and liable for any loss of keys, breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.  Please report these as soon as they occur.  The Credit/Debit Card Details supplied are held to secure payment for any loss of keys, damage or breakages caused during your stay, and if the damage or breakage is significant we may make an additional charge if it prevents us from re-letting the room until completion of the repairs.

Smoking

We are a totally non smoking establishment and any person contravening this policy will be charged £100.00 for the deep cleaning as a result of same; this will be debited against the card details provided.  

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Children & Pets

We regret that children and babies cannot be accommodated at Beaumont House.

Pets are not permitted.
